Dr Qaiser Rasheed a cardiologist affiliated with Mercy Medical Center-Clinton, Iowa, visited Indian Institute Of Islamic studies New Delhi and addressed a gathering there. He shared his social and professional experiences in America. Giving advise to Indian Muslims He said that “In spite of that we have lived as our brothers (Hindu and Muslim brothers) for hundreds and thousands of years but it is so remarkable that our Hindu brothers know very little about our religion. It looks like we live like totally different neighbours. We need to make special efforts to get out of the way to engage them and invite them on personal, collective and social levels. It would not only create peaceful environment but also release tension within the communities. We have to learn lot of lesson from Sulh-e-Hudaibiya”.
